Dos and Don'ts of Recycling Pickup Services

Recycling pickup includes:

• Flattened cardboard, cereal boxes, shoe boxes, newspaper, and mixed paper
• Mixed paper includes all grades of paper, including white, colored, ledger, shiny-coated, carbonless, or NCR papers, envelopes, including windowed, labeled, and Kraft, magazines, phone books, computer printout paper, glued pads, and notebooks
• Mixed paper and newspaper may be mixed together in a paper bag and placed in a plastic bag

Recycling pickup doesn't include:

• Paper towels or other paper products from restrooms
  
• Soiled napkins, paper plates, and Styrofoam cups
  
• Carbon paper, cellophane, or any waxed paper
  
• Waxed cardboard
